Week 1, Day 6: Bean dressing



One way I get my beans into my daily GBOMBS is by making a thick dressing out of them.  I blend them with some water for a few minutes for a consistency of a more liquid hummus.  I add flavor by mixing in garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, spicy cayenne powder or lemon/lime juice to replace some of the water in the blender.  This thicker dressing really coats all the veggies in a salad nicely, and it's an good alternative to adding whole beans to the salad.  It makes for a nice change!

You can mix up the different types of beans: white beans, adzuki, kidney beans, garbanzo beans, black beans etc.
