Week 5, Day 31: Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!  We made it into 2014, and we're in week 5 of Dr. Fuhrman's 6-week program!  We may have had a slip or two during Christmas (oh, boy!), but we're back on track and looking at the big picture again.

My salad before I mix it: I pulsed mixed greens in the food processor (kale, spinach, lettuce, green chard and arugula), then I blended tomatoes and red pepper and added both to a bowl.  All that's missing is some nut-based dressing, and I'll mix it all up for a nutritious salad.  Bon apetit!
